SOLIMAN BAY MAP
DIRECTIONS
Take Highway 307 south for about 1 hour and 20 minutes. You
will pass the cities of Playa del Carmen and Akumal. You will see
signs to a park called "Xel Ha". When you drive past the
overpass at Xel Ha, look at your odometer. Exactly 3.9 kilometers
past Xel Ha you will see a sign on the right that says "Restaurant
Bar - Oscar y Lalos". At night you may only see one bright light.
Above the road you will see a green "Retorno" sign. Proceed to
the Retorno, get in the left lane and make the U turn. You will be
returning to the Oscar y Lalo and "Hotel Jashita" sign (just past a
little white sign on right that says km 241). Turn right. It is a
gravel road.
Now you have turned down the Bahia de Soliman road, continue
to follow this road through the natural wild bird reserve. When
you come to an "L" in the road, turn right. You will pass the many
villas of Soliman Bay. Drive about 1 kilometer. You will see the
sign for Maya Jardin on the left. Choose a parking spot on the
right side of the road and proceed past the garden wall guarded
by the tile mural of the Mayan God, Xcalak.

Note: Watch out for the "topes" (speed bumps) as you drive
on the highways. They usually have a sign that looks like
this:
